Uh you're probably thinking of Pi-Hole. That's not an ad blocker, but a network wide bloatware/badware blocker. It does block ads, but on a different level.

TL;DR: it's not an ad blocker, since your computer couldn't even comprehend the ads exist using it.

i use a video speed controller, very useful if you get unskippable ads.
