DREAM LOG: 11/29/2024
THE SCENE:
DEAN IS SITTING ON THE IMPALA WITH A BLACK LAPTOP OUT IN FRONT OF HIM, WATCHING A VIDEO CALL THAT HAD BEEN RECORDED BETWEEN HIM AND KETCH. MARY STARED INTO THE BENTLEY, PARKED NOT THAT FAR AWAY IN FRONT OF THE IMPALA, WHERE A STILL KETCH SITS IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT, UNMOVING, UNBLINKING, AND UNBREATHING. IT IS APPARENT THAT HE'S DEAD.
THE VIDEO:
SAM WAS IN DANGER {POSSIBLY CORRUPTED} AND NEEDED HELP, ACCORDING TO DEAN. HIS TONE WAS ACCUSATORY LIKE HE HAD THOUGHT THAT KETCH WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS OR MAYBE HE WAS JUST BLAMING HIM. KETCH TELLS DEAN THAT SAM IS TOO FAR GONE TO BE SAVED BUT DEAN WON'T HEAR IT AND, EVENTUALLY, CONVINCES KETCH TO SEE WHAT HE CAN FIND. KETCH OBLIGES AND THAT'S THE END OF THE CALL.
QUOTES:
"I'M AFRAID YOUR SAM IS FAR TOO GONE TO BE SAVED."
"WILL YOU JUST LOOK INTO IT, ALRIGHT?"
"I'LL BE RIGHT ON IT."
OUTFITS:
DEAN– RED AND BLACK FLANNEL WITH THICK STRIPES OVER A BLACK TEE WITH A DARK GREEN JACKET OVER IT (GREY AND BLACK FLANNEL WITH THIN STRIPES OVER A BLACK TEE WITH A BROWN JACKET IN THE VIDEO)
KETCH– DARK BLUE SUIT {NEARLY BLACK} WITH A DARK FLORAL TIE THAT WAS RED, BLUE, AND PURPLE OVER A BLACK BACKGROUND (BLACK TEE UNDER A BLACK LEATHER JACKET WITH GREY JEANS IN THE SCENE)
MARY– GREY AND BLACK FLANNEL WITH THIN STRIPES OVER A BLACK TEE WITH A BROWN JACKET OVER IT
REFERENCES:
THE SCENE– DEAN'S OUTFIT BEING THE SAME AS THE ONE HE SAID GOODBYE TO CHARLIE IN, KETCH'S OUTFIT BEING THE SAME AS THE ONE HE WORE WITH DEAN WHEN TRACKING DOWN THAT VAMP, MARY'S OUTFIT BEING THE SAME AS WHEN [REDACTED] OFFERED HER A DRINK.
THE VIDEO– VERY SIMILAR IN TERMS OF LOOKS OF THE VIDEO CALL BETWEEN TFW + JACK AND KETCH IN 14X09, THOUGH, THE SCENE WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS SHOWN.
ADDITIONAL– WHEN MICK FINDS WATT (SIMILAR TO MARY FINDING KETCH), DON'T KNOW WHAT DEAN AND THE IMPALA WAS REMINDING ME OF BUT SOMETHING ABOUT IT FELT FAMILIAR.
