Piper's statement is a blatant lie! Here are some scriptures that refute the small amount they INSIST is the entirety of God's Truth... James 1:13-14, Deuteronomy 7:9, Psalm 5:12, Psalm 36:5, Isaiah 54:10, Romans 5:5, all of Matthew 6 is relational, Luke 18:16, John 16:21. Isaiah 64:8, Ephesians 6:4, Isaiah 44:24, Matthew 18:1-3, Romans 5:8, Psalm 127:3-5, Psalm 139:13-16, Lamentations 3:32-33, John 3:16, 1 John 2:2 & Zephaniah 3:17. There are countless more! God DID NOT "pass by" & "justly leave" people. He knew who would receive Him & who wouldn't but yet gave all the same human faculties, evidence of Himself, opportunity to receive Christ's atonement for their sin & a personal call. God wouldn't have bothered to give them any or very little of these things had He never wanted them. Adam & Eve made a choice in their temporal lives & chose to sin. Man is separated from God but God knew Adam & Eve would choose to sin & yet their union wasn't broken with Him until they did. God either counts babies, born or unborn, children before they reach understanding of evil & those with severe enough mental or emotional disabilities or brain damage they acquired at birth or in childhood as His based on His knowledge of their character where they are 7 that they would receive Him if they could or He wins them in a way we don't know about. God will break those who don't repent but it's not because He hates them & never wanted them but because they REFUSE TO REPENT. He longs to save the human being from becoming totally one with their flesh BUT THEY DON'T WANT HIM!
