Desperate for affection due to being deprived of it to the point that he'd start doing things just because that's what people expected him to do. All because he wanted someone, anyone appreciate him but it always seemed to work against him. For a good long while whenever something bad would happen, it'd be "blame Lucifer for it" even when he had nothing to do with it.
