he did technically die but his heart was restarted and then he forgot about imgflip for like a year then came back for a month then vanished

So something did actually happen to him?

Jay is alive since long.

Cancer did happen to him, yes, he was close to dying.
But he survived.

Three months after the post that was made by Clo(Jay's girlfriend) about Jay, I and a few other users were sent a privated post of that Jay was alright and well. The cancer was gone.

Later on, that same post was published publicly.
