Before any earthly thing existed, four beings resided within the Gardens. They were known as the Mediums, beings with the power to create anything. There were four Mediums; that of form, that of depth, that of sound, and that of concept. The Mediums gave form to Earth and its first residents, and now they each keep a watchful eye over all of the Rotisseverse, making sure proper balance is kept.
