all it takes is n being himself to convince grounder not to fight since he's a sentimental goofy goober, and scratch isn't any good at handling anything other than maybe setting up a dumb trap
a fight between them goes as such, scratch and grounder observe N and Uzi walking up to the battlefield being the dweebs they are. grounder will talk about showing no mercy before he's utterly left baffled at just how sweet N is. [because grounder is stupid, as we all know] scratch would probably try and handle uzi by himself, but all it takes is a good railgun blast or calling for N's help before scratch is...well..chicken scratch.
