Ok. First of all, level 12s tend to not be in the main deck, I understand that's the template. I would have made both level 8.
If you want really big stats, I'd recommend 3k, as that's kind of a hard limit for normal summonable monsters.
Vanquishing doesn't exist, destroyed.
First of all, don't do when effects, those lose timing and tend to not resolve. Say if unless you make the effect mandatory, secondly, that effect could be rephrased to "If this card is sent to the graveyard, return it to your hand"
Then, you can just say "You can normal summon this monster with only one tribute" and lastly, you activate spells and traps, you summon monsters, you don't play any cards. And lastly, it doesn't "get +1000 atk" it "gains 1000 atk"
