The bell rings, and both combatants immediately size each other up. Red takes to the air, hovering just out of reach, while Dragnoc seems to shift slightly, their body rippling as if ready to adapt to whatever comes next. Without warning, Red launches a burst of fire toward Dragnoc, aiming to test their opponent’s defenses. The flames roar through the air, but Dragnoc quickly shifts their form, elongating their body to avoid the attack. Their flexibility and ability to adapt to Red’s moves make them a tough target.
Undeterred, Red dives down and releases a barrage of sharp blades from their wrists, sending them flying toward Dragnoc like a deadly storm. But Dragnoc doesn’t flinch. With a flick of their hand, they twist the blades mid-flight, using their biokinesis to redirect the projectiles harmlessly into the arena floor.
Realizing that Dragnoc’s shapeshifting abilities make them a difficult target, Red quickly changes tactics, flying above once more and preparing a large fireball. But Dragnoc has already anticipated the move. With a sudden shift, Dragnoc sprouts wings of their own—great, leathery wings—and takes to the sky, closing the distance between them and Red. The wings are not only a mode of flight but also a weapon—sharp, powerful, and capable of cutting through the air at incredible speeds.
Red attempts to evade, but Dragnoc is relentless. With a burst of strength, Dragnoc rams their shoulder into Red, sending the undead assassin crashing into the ground. Red recovers quickly, but the impact has clearly taken a toll. As Dragnoc moves to press the attack, their body shifts again, growing enormous claws capable of ripping through armor. They take another swing at Red, aiming to finish this quickly.
Red is quick, though, using their agility and firebending to create a protective wall of flame around themselves. But Dragnoc’s biokinesis gives them the ability to manipulate their form mid-strike, and with a flash of speed, they twist their body, extending a jagged bone-like spike from their forearm. The spike strikes true, piercing through Red’s defenses and landing a devastating blow.
