This is all the opening Negu needs, and they press the advantage, launching a psychic blast toward E-Y’s chest.
E-Y staggers but doesn’t fall, their immense physicality allowing them to push through the psychic assault. E-Y retaliates by charging straight at Negu, whipping their weapon out and slashing in an attempt to disarm the psychic fighter. The blow narrowly misses as Negu teleports to a safer distance, still draining energy with every second. They need to weaken E-Y further to keep the upper hand.
As E-Y closes the gap, they fire off a blast from their shotgun. The powerful shot blows away part of the surrounding arena, and Negu is forced to retreat into the air, attempting to stay out of the reach of E-Y’s whip and shotgun. But E-Y isn’t done. They leap into the air, using the shotgun’s propulsion feature to boost their own jump, reaching a height that puts them in perfect range to land a crushing blow on Negu.
Negu, realizing they are running out of room to maneuver, uses all of their psychic power in one concentrated burst, aiming to drain everything E-Y has left. For a moment, it looks as if the battle is over—E-Y’s movements slow drastically, their once indomitable strength now faltering. But just as Negu prepares to deliver the final blow, E-Y’s determination takes over. They let out a battle cry, pushing through the psychic drain with sheer willpower. With a mighty swing of the whip, they catch Negu off-guard, pulling the psychic closer and delivering a punishing punch to the stomach.
Negu is sent flying back, their concentration broken. But they aren’t finished yet. They quickly gather their remaining energy and attempt to subdue E-Y with a final psychic burst, one that could knock them out for good. As they unleash it, however, E-Y, in a desperate act, uses the remaining strength in their body to slam Negu with their full force, landing a devastating blow directly to the psychic’s chest.
E-Y wins.
