Fighter One: The one, the only, Yoshi! This adorable green dinosaur from the Mario universe is far from harmless today. Armed with a rocket launcher, Yoshi combines surprising speed and agility with devastating firepower. Can the platforming legend prove that being a dinosaur with a weapon is the winning formula?
Fighter Two: Enter Henry, your average human—if “average” means someone wielding a big-ass shotgun and a pipe bomb launcher. While he doesn’t have superhuman powers or dino-like agility, Henry’s relentless determination and firepower make him a wildcard in this fight.
The Fight:
The arena erupts with cheers as the gong sounds, and Yoshi immediately starts bounding across the battlefield, rocket launcher balanced precariously on their back. Henry wastes no time, taking aim with his shotgun and firing off a deafening blast. Yoshi flips into the air with a signature flutter jump, avoiding the shot and countering with a well-aimed rocket.
Henry dives behind a chunk of debris, narrowly avoiding the rocket as it detonates with a fiery explosion. The shockwave sends both fighters rolling, but Henry recovers quickly, pulling out his pipe bomb launcher. He lobs a series of bombs at Yoshi, forcing the dino into a chaotic dance of dodging and weaving.
But Yoshi’s agility gives them the upper hand. Leaping onto a higher vantage point, they launch another rocket that catches Henry off guard. The explosion sends Henry sprawling, his shotgun skidding across the arena floor. Yoshi charges in, ready to finish the fight, but Henry isn’t out yet. Grabbing his launcher, he fires a bomb at the ground, creating a massive cloud of smoke.
The distraction gives Henry a chance to recover his shotgun and unleash a brutal volley. Yoshi takes a hit to the side and staggers, but the resilient dinosaur retaliates with a mid-air rocket shot that lands squarely at Henry’s feet. The explosion hurls him backward, knocking the wind out of him.
In the final moments, Henry tries to line up a desperation shot with his shotgun, but Yoshi’s speed and precision prove too much. A direct rocket to Henry’s position ends the fight in a spectacular blaze of fire and smoke.
Winner: Yoshi!
