Aiden: how’s your day been?

“It’s alright I guess-“

Aiden: that’s cool, same here

“Umm, what brings you here?-“

Aiden: not much, just a simple chat on like life moments

“Umm, okay.”

Aiden: how’s your life treating you?

“Its… its okay.”

Aiden: that’s nice

“How so?-“

Aiden:… wait it’s a bad thing?

“No, no, I-I’m okay, just meant to say something else-“

Aiden: wdym

“How are you feeling?”

Aiden: pretty alright

“How long have you worked here?”

Aiden: only for a month

“Oh, have you been in the city for long?”

Aiden: …yep, you’re right about that

“I’ve been here pretty much my whole life.”

Aiden: that’s nice

“It’s nice here I guess.”

Aiden: mhm, any pets you have?

“I have a lizard.”

Aiden: that’s cool, I got a big ol St Bernard’s Dog

“Oh, my dad used to own one of those.”

Aiden: here’s a photo of him out at the park. Look at my big boy

“He looks so happy.”

(My character for this will be a more modern version of my D&D character Ezra! He looks a bit like Pedro Pascal when he plays as Din btw, but he wears a simple white suit in this one roleplay I suppose as his hair is as curly short as always)

Ezra looked up as he got his paper, he looked for Alex within his sight and then waved to him as he noticed where Alex were, he'd stuff the paper piece in his pocket.
He was pretty good at finding people by now since generations back with ancestory of the great Paladins.
"Hey Alex!" Ezra said with a normal tone as he'd approach.

*Alex looked at him, and replied in a slightly awkward tone*
“Umm, hello.”

"Ain't it exciting again with the whole secret santa theme?" Ezra seemed to be in a good mood as he spoke and shrugged.

Ezra was wellknown in the team to always(or atleast most oftenly) have a good mood, it had always been so since he'd found out his old roots to the great paladins that once had been in this world.

“I guess it is a bit more interesting… I didn’t think I’d actually do it to be honest.”

“Cheer up, Alex!” Ezra joked as he quickly noted something down before stuffing the note in his pocket.

*nods*

Echo: *she looks at Alex* Hey. What's your name?

*he got spooked by the large figure*

(erm i dont know how to count height that way so idk if i got it right or no cuz we use meters here, she's 2.7 meters, my bad)
Echo: What's wrong? *she smiles sacrastically*

Echo: Alright. Tell me about yourself.

“Is there a reason you’re asking me this?”

Echo: Well... not really.

“Just cause?-“

spring*she walks over to his desk and smiles* "hey, your Alex right?"

*Alex seemed confused by the visit*
“Umm, yeah, I’m Alex.”

"well I heard your the tech guy and I was wondering if you could help me with something on my computer"

“Oh, uh, no problem.”

"thank you so much, I'll saw you to my desk" *she walks away to her desk*

*he follows her awkwardly*

"so the issue is my computer randomly freeze up for a few seconds to a minute" *when she moves the mouse the cursor doesnt move*

“What have you tried so far?”

"well i tried restarting it but that didn't help at all"

“I’ll try updating the driver.” *goes to the menu*

*once he updates the driver it starts running fine*
"thank you so much for fixing my PC"

“It’s no big deal, really-“ *rubs the back of his head*

*she hesitates for a second* "well for helping me out do you wanna go out for lunch?"

“Lunch?- Umm, maybe. Where?-“

"well i know this nearby burger place we could go to, wanna go there?"

“Umm, sure, why not?”

*she smiles and writes down the address on piece of paper * "alright then I'll see you in 30 minutes then " *she hands him the paper*

“I’ll see you then.” *small smile*

*after 20 minutes she is at a table waiting for him*

*he walks in, looking around for her*

"hey over here" *she waves at him*

*he walked over and sat across from her*

*she smiled* "well hopefully the snow wasn't too bad for you"

“Nah, I’ve been around for a while. Used to it.”

"well i just recently moved here so i am the complete opposite from you" *she softly chucked*

“Oh, in the middle of winter too?-“

"yup, it was not that fun trying to move all of my stuff into my new house"

“I can imagine the headache, did you bring enough warm clothes?”

"if you consider a sweater and some long pants warm clothing, then yea"

“That’s a start, but you’ll need thicker jackets and pants soon.•

"I'll shop for it later, but I'm wondering how long you been living here?"

“My whole life really-“

"you never had the thought of just leaving and seeing what the world had in store?"

“From time to time..”

"well then I should drag you along with one of my summer trips"

“Oh, no, you don’t need to, really-“

"come on, its gonna be so much fun with you"

“Is it? I’m not that interesting am I?-“

"well if you weren't interesting then I wouldn't be talking to you right now"

“I guess so-“

*she smiled* "um did you have any other jobs before this?"

“I had a cashiers job. I hated it.”

"yeah I also had a cashiers job but then my family forced me to join the military"

“Oh, okay.”
