Butyric acid is one of the compounds found in rancid fat. It is highly toxic and smells 1000x WORSE than shit. It's about as bad as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs). What are they thinking????
lol Smell and memory are strongly connected and one of the few things I remember from Chem Lab is how badly these compounds STANK. They had to be used/mixed underneath a ventilated hood.
