Whats up with typhlosion and why is it controversial

A while ago there was a bunch of leaks and there was several “unused” (f**king cut for a reason) lore stories of human x Pokémon relationships for Diamond and Pearl and Heart Gold and Soul Silver games. One of them was initially translated as typhlosion gaslit a girl into having a child with them. The word used for “girl” in that translation had an age range of around 5-25 years old but likely meant young lady in this case, but the translating software used just translated it to girl. Then several people who were able to translate Japanese to English then retranslated the whole thing and it ended up being the typhlosion saved the person from a snow storm. Either way it’s kind of f**ked. I’m genuinely surprised that the Slaking one didn’t get as much attention.

Don’t worry, there’s also Lapras, Octillary, Ursarang, and Rapidash versions as well. :)

Good news is these are cut and therefore, don’t hold a lot of weight in universe. They were probably some of Nintendo’s first draft’s of what was gonna go in some of the books in that one library in D/P/Pt. There is still one entry where it implies human x Pokémon relationships but it’s very vague (for good reason).

Again, they appear to be first and second drafts of what Yokai legends they could use (obviously they wouldn’t use this as this is targeted to children) but yeah. The Lapras, Ursarang, Rapidash, and Octillary ones, the human makes the first move (octillary gets tossed in the ocean afterwords twice). Slaking and Typhlosion are the ones making the move in theirs. The ursarang in Rapidash ones are arguably the most tame (cause it’s stated to be consensual). Lapras and Octillary give no word on this.
