Allistor’s mother had an affair with another man when allistor was only 5. When his father found out, he took his anger out on allistor using knives/bare hands/any form of abuse you can imagine. This lasted 4 years and before CPS could be called, allistor’s father set the house on fire. Allistor was the only survivor. He was in foster care for 7 years before actually getting adopted, and by the time he was 16 he was with a religious old couple. School wasnt great either, Allistor had been homeschooled his entire life so being dropped into high school with no warning is terrible. Especially after going through a mutation surgery that basically made him a cat mutant thingy. Allistor was bullied by a boy named Max. (very important later) Max was transmasc and very much in the closet. If he ever was out, he knew he’d be disowned. Anyways, Allistor’s conservative fosters were convinced he was a demon (because of the surgery) and basically sent him to a conversion camp. Of course Max was there too, there’d be no plot without him. They both begin to bond over trauma and soon begin to secretly date. Allistor had been suicidal for a while, but couldnt do anything drastic because he was under a watchful eye. Here, however, he didn't hesitate to slit his wrists/thighs and anything that could fatally harm him. Of course, Max hated this. And when a mysterious man appeared and claimed he could grant any wish, Max wished for Allistor to stop harming himself. The mysterious man in question turned out to murder and mutilate Max in the closet where allistor planned to hang himself. As allistor walked into the closet, he didn't feel the urge to harm/kill himself, and because of Max’s wish allistor cant feel pain, mental or physical at all. Anyway bro can’t even cry anymore either. Womp womp.
