As you all probably know, a member of the AUB whom we thought was trustworthy betrayed us earlier today(EVERLASTING_DEFIANCE) He basically took over our stream, hence why I made this one. And I don’t think there’s a better person to blame than myself. This is all my fault because I’m the one who trusted enough to give him the owner role, and because of that, our stream was taken over. So I’m sorry and I really hope you all can forgive me and I’ll try not make the same mistake again.

But we’re not giving up yet. Even though we’ve lost our first stream, we still have this one. And as long as I’m on this website, there will always be an AUB. We’re not quitting until we win the battle against MSMG. We’re not stopping until this website returns to its former glory. We’re not saying GG until we spit in the face of upvote beggars and win this war. We’re not gonna let anyone stop us, no matter what it takes. When has the AUB ever given up? The answer is never, and we’re never going to. As the co-founder of the AUB (Fantom_L) once said:

So, in conclusion, let me ask you something. Will you be there for this website? I ask that you will be. We’ll take as much help as we can get. Upvote beggars are ruining this website. This stream won’t let that happen.

Never was, this was my decision, and at the time of my enstatememt, I had no intention of such things, but then I learned more, and made up my mind

Why should the AUB continue to exist? What had we accomplished by running that stream that in any way benefitted imgflip as a whole?
Nothing really, other than attract tons of mindless children thinking their joining the "cool kids" club
What we did do, is create a divide, expanded an already vast division, why couldn't we have tried to unify in some way, what purpose do we serve just to cause conflict for our own entertainment and gain?
I've learned that that's not a good way of living, and I intend to pass that on, learn now before you get older
So really, even if we did "raid" msmg, or nearly arkuum it, did we accomplish anything? No, because the internet won't ever change, this site is dying, and there is nothing we can do to stop it, and trying to get rid of upvote beggars won't fix it, if anything, it will only just cause the trolls to find another way to annoy common users

I made the AUB to fight against upvote beggars because at the time upvote begging on this website was really bad. And it made this website a lot less fun to go on. That’s why I made the AUB. Now I will admit I didn’t think it’d create this much conflict but still. This website already has a lot of problems and I’m just trying to get rid of one of them.

To what avail?

I know why: Because of the simple differences of MSMG and AUB/fun. AUB and fun rather see meme creation and being on the hot page as a competition, and they hate it when a low effort meme such as upvote begging gets to the hot page. MSMG however doesn't care about huge effort, and they just chill with each other, which is why upvote begging is accepted.

But now to the actual reasons of the conflict:
1. MSMG sees the hate on upvote begging of fun and AUB as their weakness. This is why they post upvote begging in fun, resulting in fun and AUB users getting mad, resulting in MSMG users making fun of these users and laughing their asses off. (This is also known as ragebait)
2. Like I already said, MSMG is completely ok with upvote begging, but they don't like it when AUB users cross up and think they can make the rules.
3. A lot of AUB users sometimes act cringe and immature when they see upvote begging, like DavidStevens below this image (it was posted in MSMG): imgflip.com/gif/92qb1b

But one thing I agree in with you: The upvote begging in the fun stream has gone a bit too far. I used to be pretty active in trolling the fun streamers, but now I start having respect and understand totally if fun streamers want to see more memes that make them laugh.

So tl;dr: MSMG users dislike you because of different opinions about upvote begging and you making yourself an easy target for trolling. So the best way to deal with upvote beggars is ignoring them.

I have a good chance at getting rid of a lot of upvote beggars, since most of them are MSMG users, and I am one as well.

And about fun streamers in MSMG: One option is if you make them join the AUB, and then ban raiding MSMG posts.
