Honestly, things in Minecraft are confusing, and overwhelming possibly for the young brain. Sure, you can fight the Mobs, but if you want the WHOLE Minecraft experience, you need to learn the basics of commands.

Me as a teen , don't understand commands, I don't think 8yr old children would be able to understand any.cimands

Yeah, you can build anything, so let any kid have that & they will make something inappropriate.
Also the depression of losing a hardcore world.
