Whenever you say things like tomorrow or harrowing replace it with toMARROW or MARROWING. You see the joke

Replace all words such as “idiot, stupid, or dumb” with bonehead or boneheaded
Replace words referencing large amounts of something with “ a skele-ton” ex: “we got a skele-ton of candy”
Express mild discomfort towards dogs and dog based costumes. DONT MAKE IT OBVIOUS. We want ppl to ask “what’s wrong?” not “have you eaten and candy from anyone suspicious”
Note that sans makes non bone puns too.
Use of candy as props can go a long way. Snickers can be used for laughing based puns (snickering)
If you find yourself in a group of 3 a 3 musketeers can go a long way
