Even if my parents were transphobes, if I can talk half a dozen people out of suicide and get a conspiracy theorist to think clearly again, I can fix an idiotic belief.
The problem with coming out is that people tend to need reassurance. They'll hace follow-up questions, they'll need reassurance you're still the same person, people tend to think that trans people stop being the whole person they were.

Most of my friends already know. My parents have seen me in a skirt. Admittedly on accident.
you... still need a place to stay, you are 15, you can't get a job or anything. and also, the quality of life that you get from working since 15 is kinda shit.

I'm aware that there will be follow-up questions, but I don't plan to be the same person anymore.
Still, you gotta be there to make sure it doesn't blow up in your face. I mismanaged my coming out and it has cost me 9 of my best friends, my boyfriend and 2 years of continuous suicidal ideation.
