make it common or make it so mined emerald ore is called "pure emerald ore" which can be used with a fletching table for improved arrows that removes the ability to be combined with potion effects but it splits into a bunch or arrows when shot near an enemy

Before all you kids go like "nO yOuRe WrOnG iTs sO oP," you could literally just make a wheat or coal farm (you can trade with farmers and blacksmiths, which will usually give you emeralds for a certain number of coal or wheat), and get stacks of emeralds much quicker than trying to search for a biome that's not very common to find an even more hard-to-find ore.

And you could also trade with librarians, as they often take books for emeralds.

or you could just loot village chests, they might contain emeralds

(go for the blacksmith chests, they have emeralds, gold, iron, sometimes diamonds, even)
