my parents are usually very ok with me playing different games (I was playing Metal Gear Solid at 12)
except for Pokémon, they would literally kill me if I did anything remotely tied to that game

but idk what's in the game that goes against it

Christian hate against Pokémon was a really big thing like 30 years ago for some reason, kind of crazy for families to continue seeing it as satanic or whatever
