No it doesn't. I've been scouring Latin dictionaries and nowhere can I find the definition of little human being. I seriously don't know where he got this definition from.

I even got my dad's old Latin dictionary and I found "fētus", the root word, meaning "breeding, bearing, producing, brood, young; fruit, produce; production"

But let's just imagine he's right and that fetus meant little human being in Latin. But he's still wrong because he's trying to argue that the ancient meaning is the same as the modern one.

This is known as the Etymology Fallacy, and it only takes a couple examples to explain it.

The word nice comes from a Latin word meaning "ignorant", nescius, and the word egregious comes from the Latin word meaning excellent, ēgregius. Neither of these words mean what they used to mean, and that's okay, considering that languages change all the time. But let's take Charlie's argument to its logical extreme.

If words always meant what they used to mean historically, that means the word fetus means the same as its ancestor term, dʰeh₁(i). That also means that it is the same for all of its descendants.

So, the words female, fecund, *doe, fawn, filial, feminine, fellatio, felicity, Felix, and Felicia all mean little human being.

*probably
