Personally I think that putting pride flags on announcement template is stupid. This isn’t a dating site where it’s important to mention things like that, and I also think it’s very off topic. Nobody needs to know if you’re pansexual, straight, gay, whatever. I’m bisexual and demiboy for that matter, but I absolutely do not have an obligation to just insert pride flags into my announcement template. People don’t immediately need to know what particular gender I feel like or that I like both men and women. It’s not necessary to point out things like orientation when you’re using a literal meme website. When pride flags are used in announcement templates, it feels unneeded, pointless, and borderline narcissistic to a lot of straight cisgender users here. I should know, I used to be a straight cisgender user.
