"Towards The Sunset" (AU)

That was the Gridlock Phase (GP) or known as the "Coronation War" (CW). Part of the infamous Chain War, the GP/CW was a 205 day conflict between the coalition and corrupted forces. It is considered as the last phase of the conflict, and resulted in a pyrrhic victory for the coalition.

The last battle of the GP/CW/Chain was the well-known sky duel between Mike and Steven.

The duel was over. The winner was chosen. Mike.

He looked on his right, to see the explosion. The corruption has weakened and no longer posed a threat thanks to Icarus Armories and various military companies / corporations and their weapons.

He flew his PW-MK-1A towards the sunset, its golden rays reflecting on his aircraft and the glass of his cockpit. Mike took a deep breath, and whispered to himself:

"...The deal has been fulfilled, but at what cost?"

The Chain War was a worldwide conflict between the united forces of survivor factions and countries against the corruption. It saw the highest death toll, of 873 million, as it raged on for ten years. (Sorry if it sounds bad)

This conflict also met characters from different universes fight against the corruption. From cartoons to military characters, they worked together to kill off and stop the corruption once and for all.
