no its that people call it preferred pronouns like theres hypothetically an equivalent you can use

like how my "prefered" pronouns are (variable) he/him but someone could say they (when im a guy) andthat would fall under what you said. yes?

no like its just rude to invalidate someones gender by calling it a choice with wording like "preferred" or "identifies as"
