One of my biggest pet peeves is when people say things like this. Real, Biblical Christianity is actually one of the smallest faith groups in the world. That’s because real Christianity includes the casting of demons, the speaking of tongues, and visions. Many Christians say “That stuff doesn’t happen anymore,” which is hypocritical because they say we gotta be more like Jesus, but Jesus himself casted demons out of people!
Most Christians today are either the “once saved always saved” people who think Christianity allows you to live your life however your want, or are those who are “Sunday Christians” who just go to church on Sunday and do nothing Godly (or actually sin more) during the week. Christianity is a lifestyle year round, not 52 Sundays each year.
The church is a problem too. Many churches, like those passive Southern Baptist ones, are very soft in their teachings, avoiding hard subjects like hell and demons, which is a big things mentioned in the Gospel.
TL;DR - Yes, there are plenty of people who profess as Christians, but the number of people who are actually real and Biblical is much, much smaller.
