Amber interrupts his monologue as she slices off Duplos right arm. He shrieks in pain as Amber kicks him into the ground and starts stabbing him rapidly. Only until Heather and Matt pulled her off, did she stop. Duplo was pronounced dead that day. But in his mind, he woke up. He looked around the strange place. It was fading slowly. He then heard a voice behind him
Fox: Hey.
Behind Duplo was Fox, with Angel behind him.
Fox: You've been busy, haven’t you?
Duplo: And who are you?
Fox: Well, I go by many names, but my real name… is Maxwell Timber.
Duplo suddenly freezes up as Fox smirks
Fox: Yeah… now you know who I am… Let me tell you something I always wanted to say to you. Whether you considered it or not. You hurt people. For the past years, I’ve been longing for my sister, hoping that she would return someday. Some fantasy huh?
He circles around Duplo, like a shark toying with his prey.
Fox: Well, as much as I would love to take you to the underworld and give you a proper punishment… I have other plans. Sorry Hades, but this is for my family.
Angel puts her hand on Fox’s shoulder, ready to transport them back.
Fox: Enjoy oblivion.
He says as he and Angel get teleported out of Duplos mind and into the real world. Fox then grabs Duplo’s soul and then smashes it onto the ground. Fox dusts his hands off as Matt and Heather sigh of relief. The nightmare was indeed over… But Amber just stared at Venus’s body…
Amber: I’m sorry…
Fox walks next to Amber and smiles.
Fox: Hey, don’t worry. I have an idea.
The gang leave as Jowl just stares at them.
Officer: Uh… sir? Do we just let them go? They sort of just murdered your son-
Jowl: Eh, he deserved it. And besides, I don’t want to be the second victim tonight.
The officers agree as they drive off. Back in the underworld, Fox was getting scolded by Hades for destroying a soul, as the others watched. After a while, Hades sighed and turned to the three
Hades: Alright. I’ll give you permission. If you walk up the steps of the underworld without turning around, the souls will be revived, but if you look back, they will remain dead. Deal?
Matt, Amber, and Heather: Deal!
Hades nodded as the three left. They continued walking up from the underground. When they made it, Sunny, Violet, and Venus had been revived.
Violet: yay! Thanks hon!
