You’re dumb, as we all know A Minecraft Movie was an enormous success last year and one of last year’s best movies, grossing $928 million globally with over $400 million domestically, despite mediocre critical reception. While Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it a low score (approx. 48%), audiences gave it an 86% rating, fueling a record-breaking $163 million domestic opening, the biggest for a video game movie. Makes sense for a movie based on the best-selling game ever. I enjoyed it a lot, even though I didn’t see it in theaters because of the Chicken Jockey craze/meme.
