Here is why it sucks. 1: Their voices are annoying. When the kids sing, their voices usually sound unenthusiastic and sometimes off-key. They also sound like they're trying too hard to sing. Also, you may not even know what they're saying in some songs. 2. Their production is terrible as they mostly change the pitch of the original song beat; if anything, it somewhat sounds lifeless.
3. They butcher and ruin almost every good song they do. 4. Their dubbing and rhymes don't make sense and wreck the original song's meaning. 5. Their versions of songs sound grainy compared to the original versions. 6. It contains unnecessary censorship. 7. Most of their covered songs already have clean versions, but they "clean" them up even further, which is entirely pointless because there are actual clean versions of those songs. 8. The instrumental tracks are seriously lacking as they mostly use the original instrumental of the songs they cover. They even went far with their "Old Town Road" cover which uses Wxsterr's instrumental beat without even giving credit to him, as you can faintly hear his production tag at the beginning of the song. 9. Their comments on YouTube and TikTok are disabled, showing that they won't take criticism nicely. However, some of their YouTube videos with the comments section already had their comments disabled for featuring kids or being marked automatically as "made for kids". 10. Rather than creating an English dub or having kids who fluently speak Korean, they try to speak Korean in the "Gangnam Style" (which ended Kidz Bop 23 on a sour note) and "Boy with Luv" covers, but it sounds more like gibberish than Korean.[4]. 11. They plagiarize. They never credit the original singers for what they try to sing, so it's copyrighted material. 12. They remix and dub songs that aren't inappropriate (albeit their purpose was otherwise), like "Let It Go" and "Sunflower", which are both clean because they were made for kids' movies. 13. An ex-Kidz Bop singer revealed in a r/AskReddit post (which has since been removed) that the company itself is nothing but a massive scam run by the son of a notorious scammer that scams the child singers and their parents out of their savings. He also revealed that it can take weeks, months, and years to get royalties for the songs they cover, even if they do get their royalties. The kids will almost always never see them as their parents will swindle them out of it and use them for malicious purposes.[5].
