I don't see the problem with simply shipping 2 FICTIONAL (emphasis on fictional) characters as long as you keep fact and fiction separate. The problem appears when people don't separate them, and starts thinking shit like this irl, or it influences others into thinking shit like that irl. Imo, it's not a problem untill someone specifically does something to make it problematic
