The love child of a .50 Cal (Or the M2 Browning) and any of those. Somehow, I can make cursed guns despite the fact I draw tanks.

Since I have posted two fictional AMX-50 variants, I should do some lore / story about this.

[Funny thing is, I drew this before the AMX-50DR, but decided to choose the DR before the CT]

(BACKGROUND)

||AMX-50 TANK FAMILY||

The AMX-50 tanks of heavy tank turned MBT (Yes, I know it's cursed) are a series of medium tanks, then heavy tanks, until main battle tanks developed during the Great Split (Alt. Cold War), and as a successor to the "Chasseur" heavy tanks (Which I am considering if it will be drawn). The later variants, such as the AMX-50CT and AMX-50DR were made to counter the "Gonchaya" heavy tanks (Gonchaya = hound in Russian) (Also considering), and for the Dusk Federal Armed Forces (DFAF). (Dusk Federation = France, Belgium, and Switzerland)

The AMX-50CT tanks first saw combat in the Yokosukan Civil War (1957 - 1959) and fought against revolutionaries (大国の戦士たち / Warriors of the Great Powers) until the end of the war.

During the 1980s and so on, the AMX-50CT was pulled out of service from the DFAF in favor of the newly introduced AMX-50DR back in 1981. However, the CT still found use in other countries, such as the Rostock Republic (Germany and Denmark) up until the 2000's.

Although, despite being developed during the 1940s-1950s, the AMX-50DR still found use and still serve in the DFAF, as it was considered as the "Pinnacle of the AMX-50 series." It is also serving alongside the Leclerc MBT.

Today's AMX-50DRs now use the usual armor and shells many modern day tanks use, unlike their old counterparts.

Modifications of the AMX-50CT;

- Not much is modified other than the side skirts, the huge mounted machine gun, and a scope (The tube over the main gun)
