How can you, a corrupt and sinful human, as we all are, determine what is just and unjust? The Lord set the rules, told them to us, and explained the consequences if we failed to meet them. He will never send a struggle towards you that you cannot handle, so if you stray away and abandon God, it's solely by your free will and choice.

They are the same, and separate. As the Lord, and as God the Father and God the Son

You’re not wrong, but each person in the Trinity serves His own purpose. It’s the Father who has ultimate authority to make all things happen, it’s his Son who was sent to take the blame for our sins, and it’s the Holy Spirit which lives inside all Christians.

Does that mean you should ONLY pray to the Father? Not necessarily. I just don’t know if praying to Jesus for your struggles is the right reason (unless that struggle is of course sin).

They are made separate by certain actions and purposes. Jesus himself said he was the Son of God, and God at the same time. It's like three fractions of a whole. Same thing with three ways of working
