In order to unlock it, they require a Correllen Crystal or unlock their full potential. This form changes their design drastically and gives them immense power. Only like 1% sweeter, basically it would taste just like human flesh.
Also if you tried to eat his face you could have to try to climb on him or jump so he would have ways of knocking onto the floor so hard your spine crumples, your ribs shatter, and you gain brain trauma.
