I’ve mentioned it in passing before but for all my life I’ve been “the skinny kid.” I don’t eat much and what I do eat isn’t healthy, I don’t play any sports and in general am in terrible shape. I decided to change this recently, so I’ve been working out. I’m starting slow, ten push-ups and ten sit-ups every night before bed with the occasional squats, jumping jacks, and running either in place or around the block. It’s honestly helpful and I can already tell if I keep consistent I’ll see improvement within a few months. If you’re unhappy with your physical shape and want to get stronger, I highly recommend starting slow like this. Too many people jump straight into being muscle bros and working out at the gym and either get too intimidated or demotivated after a couple days.
