Yup, the closest they could come to the main game becoming into movie focus would be if they put the story of Alex and Steve(plus the other characters seen in the updates and teasers)
like they've been working on it for five years how accurate would it be where they based on the current build in the future where they add like the moon as a dimension or something
That's just your opinion for now, we all still don't know the final version of it. Just like with what happend with the Super Mario movie.

I think I've got a valid theory for the minecraft movie, it plays out during the Minecraft Legends. Why else are we seeing stuff that don't happen ingame the Minecraft we all play often actually?
