Oh see, I was talking about like the pre MK1 lore... now with MK 1, we have each timeline having a set of protector gods (Raiden, Fujin, Liu Kang) and technically the Elder Gods exist... BUT ONLY BECAUSE LIU KANG LET THEM, thus Liu Kang is now the most powerful being in this one particular timeline... so basically whoever controls time is the top dawg
