Ok so for context my Homecoming Dance is around the 27th of September and I honestly want to ask my friend to the dance. They're a girl, honestly i'd say a 9/10, but they're my friend so I feel like it would ruin our friendship in unimaginable ways. I (Male) feel bad but at the same time I just feel the urge to ask. That's why I came to you guys since y'all have probably been through shit like this before.

One thing to note is that I'm kind of getting mixed signals when she talks with me, either she does like me and she's too shy to say it or she just thinks we're friends. I also don't know her sexuality preferences (like idk if she's Lesbian, Bi, Ace, Pan, etc.), but I am going to ask my friend group tomorrow so I can find out.
