tf2s fandom is better than most communities honestly because:
furries - a lot of us are depraved or degenerates, from what i have seen. Some are cool but damn.
bronies - Literally pedos. I'm not even joking.
UTTP - It's a fandom consistent of unfunny children trying to ragebait and spam bots
and more.
tf2s community is willing to teach new players, but then theres gonna be the unfunny ragebaiter who spams "skill issue" to the new player.
It depends on what map ur playing on. 2fort is full of pubstompers (professionals who go into matches full of new players just to be an asshat) but not really toxic, and friendlies that rage switch to heavy as soon as they are rdmed.
Hightower is 100% toxic for sure. I go into one match and theres hackusations because i play sniper and someone got pissed over dying. Hightower has a really weird culture of people who think they are professionals but are just toxic people with less than 50 hours on the game, and some actually good players. And a huge f**king amount of cheaters
