LIFE OR DEATH:
Fio is the only daughter of a wealthy Italian family. The Germi family was historically a military family, so of course Fio's father wished for the first child to be a strong son. However, following a difficult birth, her mother became unable to bear additional children. This was the first time in Germi history that the family had a female heir. Due to family tradition, she was required to become a soldier, so she was made to join the Government Forces. The complete opposite of Eri, Fio was raised by loving parents and possesses a quiet demeanor. She studied chiropractics and acupuncture in university and is thinking of becoming a sports doctor in the future.

For a seasoned warrior, on occasion Fio will display an almost childlike naivete and exuberance. Her victory pose is a pure example. Aside from her tonfa and hatchet, she also pushes enemies away in fear.

She has been on certain recon missions with Leona Heidern, and they're good friends from that point. One of her favorite drinks is Ice Tea (Queen Mary).

Originally, information of the Invaders was unknown to the Regular Army prior defeating the Iron Sentinel and seeing the Invaders. Morden explains that the Rebel Army and the Martians formed a new alliance to get rid of the Invaders. Both factions attempted to rescue Rootmars from the ocean before the Invaders came to attack. They were excavating the ground in Mission 1 to find the Invaders' base.

True to his word, the Invader King, alongside most of the Invaders, is located deep underground. Reaching there is a large cavern full of organic and fleshy structures. The Invader King itself is situated inside of a cocoon producing new Invaders. With the help of the Rebel Army, the cocoon is destroyed, and the Invader King is presumed dead... Until it beams its eyes up and starts the fight on its own.

Allen approaches the battlefield in a hot-headed and insulting manner when it comes to fighting the soldiers of the Regular Army. Allen loves fighting the enemy, and it is why he prefers to remain as a sergeant because it is the highest rank possible that allows him to fight in the front lines on a daily basis.

His sheer strength is matched by far of his ego, often slagging and making comments about his enemies. While his superiority complex does get the better of him, he is an adept soldier, capable of enduring more punishment than his weaker comrades.

The only thing that keeps Allen alive, besides his muscles and big-head, is his devotion and will to return home to his wife Henrietta and children Nancy and Allen Jr.

Players can battle his son as an optional boss in Metal Slug Advance. Allen Jr. borrows some of his father's battle lines and combat style.

This Italian-American went on to study at the military academy's special technologies college after attending a public technical high school. After graduation, he became a member of the Peregrine Falcons Special Forces Squad (commonly called PF Squad). Although gentle by nature, mentioning General Morden, who is responsible for the deaths of so many of his friends and comrades, will send him into an uncontrolled rage. He's one of the squad's expert agents and an intellectual whose hobby is computer science. A computer virus he created for fun once mistakenly attacked the army's central computer system. Penetrating through all of the security firewalls, the virus almost caused the launch of a nuclear missile. But he'll never admit this.

During the character info screen in Metal Slug SV-001, he is given the logo "Siliconhouse M's -custom build-" with a caricature of himself slouching at a computer desk. His nickname in the same game is "Intelligent Soldier".

Marco's computer science hobby also resulted in the creation of the AI MS-Alice. She was originally a virus that he stole from an unnamed nation, and Alice gained self-awareness after watching him work to bring her to "life". Marco cares deeply for Alice and becomes visibly worried when she becomes critically damaged.

He also takes care of Midori, acting as her guardian and watching out for her safety.

The son of a distinguished American military man named Tarmicle Roving Jr., he entered the Special Forces Training School immediately after junior high school. At the age of 20, he joined the PF Squad on a mission to rescue the president, where he met Marco and became fast friends. Upon discovering that Marco had been selected for a counteroffensive in the Great War, he volunteered for action, where they fought through and survived the war together. Following the war, both he and Marco were promoted, with Tarma becoming captain.

In private, Tarma often makes fun of the over-serious Marco, but holds him in the highest regard as a soldier. He builds custom motorcycles as a hobby with a knack that rivals even professionals. Tarma had intended to retire and start up a motorcycle shop following the First Morden Great War, but he was coaxed by his superiors to remain in service. His favorite food is fermented beans on rice.

Tarma is often seen hitting on women regardless of faction affiliation. This usually results in failure, but he does not get depressed after a rejection and will not pursue them too hard. He thinks this as just another strategy after a failed mission.

For such a breezy man, Tarma is a vigilante at heart who does not ever forgive those who have assaulted his comrades and will avenge them when they are heavily injured.
