kashiko: seraphim have six wings, two to cover their face, two to cover their feet, and two to fly. this implies that seraphim look humanoid, though it might just be me jumping to conclusions. then how come people will depict seraphim as an eye or eyes which happen to have six wings?
also, why would seraphim be required to cover their eyes and feet? i mean, i know that they cover their eyes to avoid being blinded by god’s glory and they cover their feet because…they’re unholy apparently. at that point just get rid of their feet since they’re just going to be flying the entire time anyway. it’s as if they, or all angels for that matter, were only created to praise god in all his supposed glory
how is it that literally all angels were created to praise god and only god? is god some kind of delusional narcissist or something who feels the need to create angels to fuel his narcissism? no wonder lucifer rebelled, god had way too many strings tied to lucifer’s back and poor lucifer couldn’t take it anymore
as someone with four wings, even less than the seraphim, i bow to no god but myself. the idea that we are all fundamentally sinners who deserve to burn in hell for merely existing and that every good thing in life is an undeserved blessing that we should be grateful for just sounds so invalidating and dehumanizing, like who is god to decide i deserve hell just because i exist? i didn’t choose to exist therefore by that logic i didn’t choose to be a sinner, and so i really shouldn’t be punished for being a sinner. not everyone may worship me, but it’s not like i wanted that anyway. i will still help them with their troubles unlike god who is said to be this all-powerful, all-knowing, benevolent being yet never actually solves the real problems like war, famine, homelessness, discrimination, things like murder, sexual assault, and trafficking cases, or disease. also we can’t forget, god killed more people than lucifer did
