why not?

It could tear up your body over time, leading to this addiction like thing where you just can’t sleep without the melatonin and getting back onto a regular schedule would be really painful and a long process

If you take it repeatedly your body starts to rely on it to sleep and then when you don’t take it you just can’t sleep because your body is looking for the melatonin, because your body produces melatonin naturally

You’ll have to find a better substitute, I can look into it

You could always plug your phone in across the room or something

In short term usage it’s fine but long term it starts to hurt your body
