Both sides are extremely ridiculous. Anti-swifties are annoyed by Taylor Swift simply being there. That's not her fault, it's the NFL's bc they're trying to cash in on her fanbase, which is understandable as they want views, but it's annoying for football fans, so they say she ruined the NFL (though idk how ppl say that after Colin Kaepernick literally ruined the NFL for a few seasons).
And then there's the side of the ignorant swifties who think football is dated and irrelevant just bc they don't like it much, and Taylor is the only reason anyone is watching it. That's also ridiculous. If that were true, people wouldn't pay $7M just to get a 30 second ad slot in the Super Bowl.
It was hilarious to me seeing all these swifties on social media learn who Travis Kelce was last year, saying stuff like Taylor put him on the map. Like bro just had come off winning 2 superbowls in 3 years. Anyone who watches any football knew who he was long before Taylor dated him.
It would be like if ppl said that about Josh Allen. I literally knew about him when he was in CFB - before he got in the NFL
