That’s not what he said.
What he said was, basically, that it the recipient of the civilian award was better off because she didn’t have to get killed or maimed in order to receive it…where as most military recipients were either killed, and never knew that they received the nations highest recognition of valor, or they were horribly maimed or wounded.
There are literally thousands of soldiers, airmen, marines that qualified for the award…but all the witnesses to their heroic efforts were themselves killed and weren’t able to give testimony to the deeds.
The lefties doing everything they can to diminish our military while Trump did everything he could to bolster, support, and expand our military and its readiness.
