Got bored, so I tried out some Y-Wing Microfighter alternate builds on Rebrickable. BARC Speeder by zsoltom - 4.5/5
Looks pretty good but shamelessly uses extra pieces. (I had to do some modifications to use only the set's available parts); Speeder Bike by Will_Crafting - 4/5
Awesome design, but I also had to mod it to avoid extra parts and IDEK what the tower thing is. Rex's Pistol by Camobricktape - 1/5
It's not as fun to hold as you'd imagine, the build feels unfinished (especially on the opposite side), and the handle is so flimsy that I had to completely rework it just so it wouldn't crumble in my hand. And lastly, an AV-7 Cannon I built myself.
If I'm being honest I'd give this a 3.5/5. It isn't the best, and some smaller details come off easily, but it still works well and gets the idea across. I also made sure that the barrel wasn't too front-heavy, which kind of have to applaud myself for.
