Communism functions off the manipulation and oppression of the people. In a communist country, you can’t safely speak out against the government when you don’t like what they’re doing. You might not like what society is today, but it’s not real capitalism. It’s a corrupted rigged version of capitalism set up by connected people. What we need isn’t communism, we just need better enforcement of corporate laws.

No? You seem to misunderstand what communism is. Communism is the idea that everyone gets the same amount of control, money, food, resources and everything else. This idea may work on a very very small scale like a town, but it collapses as soon as you try to scale it up, it always ends up converting to a dictatorship

Communism makes a soft society, a good capitalist society would have social programs for the unemployed to lean on while they find a job, and whatnot, but everyone getting the same thing means hard work is pointless, and hard work should always mean something.

That’s why it fails pretty much every time. It kinda relies on individuals to do their job. However, it isn’t inherently about the government having absolute control.

People could never get along that well. Small communes exist, but it can’t work on a large scale. Also, why should you have the same reward for work as someone who does half the work you do? It’s an interesting bill of goods, but you’re being led down the garden path.

Okay, but in a Communist society, what if you’re working hard, but getting paid the same as the least productive person in there? It makes no sense, the people who do more should be paid more. The reason CEOs make more than anyone else in the company is because they have to lead the company and everyone who works for it, plus they had to work hard for the qualifications to hold the job. You should be paid for the value of your work, not for your existence in the company.
