Yeah, I get the lore is dark and all, but come on, the series is dark without being too graphic about it and even after seeing gory stuff older, it still makes me uncomfortable. Also, I don’t think the first FNaF movie would have been as popular if it was rated R. I’d understand the rated R thing if the games were rated M, but they are rated T games and my generation were like really young when the game first came out and most of us watched stuff about the game when we were that age. And it only just turned 10 years old as a series! So only a couple of us are even adults now who grew up with the series and I think for horror fans, the whole “babies first horror film” thing is what gets people comfortable for horror films so they can go to the more scary movies, so people shouldn’t in my opinion be so angry that the FNaF movie was like that if it gets them into the horror genre to begin with.
