Can you do a basics for cooking?

Whites - white clothing (without patterns or embroidery)

Lights - white clothing with patterns and/or embroidery, light shades of any color except light blue.

Brights - any bright red, yellow, orange, green or light blue clothing

Darks - Dark blue and purple clothing go together, as do blacks and browns.

Clothing textures, colors, and their correlated cycles:

Cotton & Linen - normal cycle

Denim - gentle or normal cycle

No-Iron Dress Clothing - permanent press or synthetics cycle

Sweaters & Wool - wool, delicate, gentle cycles or wash garments by hand

Athletic Wear - permanent press

Delicates - delicates cycle (cold water is typically used for this)

Coats & Jackets - bedding cycle

Towels - heavy duty cycle

Bedding & Sheets - sheets cycle (delicate if it doesn't exist on your machines!)

Bright & Dark Clothes - cold water

Whites - normal cycle

Dress Shirts, Denim, Sweaters & Wool should be air dryed.

Always read the tag on your clothing items for water temperature, washer cycle settings, and dryer cycle settings.

Make sure to empty all pockets before putting anything in the washing machine

Fasten any zippers or buttons to help prevent lint and pilling.

You should wash and dry your clothes inside out! This is a less commonly known fact, but doing this maintains clothes better.
