Ink sans comes from an unfinished au that its creator abandoned about after giving its sans a soul. With absolutely nothing for him in life that sans ripped his soul apart and found himself still alive in the hub world in which aus can be seen. He wasn’t able to feel any emotion. One time he saw a splash of paint fall when a creator made a new au. He consumed it and found he was able to feel when he did. So he now encourages Undertale fans to create new aus so that he can use the resulting paint as a soul substitute

When he did he was shattered across time and space, he could either be the mystery man or redacted. With redacted actually being a better candidate as he actually speaks in Wingdings

Glitchtale is way too long to fully cover. But it’s starting premise is that frisk somehow separates from chara in the sans fight and lets sans absorb their soul. Sans absolutely demolishes chara, resets and now the two get a pacifist run done. Later on chara somehow returns and sans, frisk, flowey with the six souls, and gaster fight them. They win. Than they get to go to the surface with all the monsters together and further hijinks insue

Whats the story behind Glitchtale? *evil laughter cuz theres so much lore*

Glitchtale starts with the sans fight in with the assumption of chara taking frisk over in genocide runs. Midnight frisk somehow separates from chara and gives sans their soul. With frisk’s soul sans absolutely demolishes chara and the universe is reset and a pacifist run begins. Mid run chara appears due to the titular “glitch” and tries to steal all of frisk’s determination with the determination extraction machine in the true lab. Almost all of frisk’s determination is taken and sans recruits gaster and flowey with the 6 souls to stop chara. Flowey goes to speak with chara who is full of hate power and he talks them down (as asriel at this point with frisk’s soul and frisk is also still alive because glitch) chara uses their last moments (last because hate isn’t sustaining them now) to give asriel their soul and mix all the other six’s soul attributes into a new rainbow soul. Frisk gets their soul back too. All the monsters go up to the surface and hijinks insue.

DEEPER LORE: so the red soul basically dunks on everything is the person with it tries hard enough so two siblings one with a red soul and one whose soul color I don’t remember exist. The one without the red soul got a huge infiriority complex and hated their sibling so they eventually developed the pink fear soul. The only soul type that’s stronger than determination. I’m not getting into Bette noir

The golden flowers at the beginning of the game because after Toriel's fight she goes there and says "someone has to take care of these flowers" and there's a name brand chocolate bar in her fridge. Another is Asgore's garden because when Asriel died, his dust spread across the garden and he was holding Chara in his arms.

So Asgore's garden would make more sense because of the events that happened but, most people believe that they're buried under the golden flowers at the start of the game.
