What is happening?

i followed you

i have been shot need back up

got a text saying shots fired im here but i don't hear it

*gun shots in background*

Kyle: "So . . . am I going to be doing basic patrols for my first day?"

*They get into Samuel’s commissioned car, and drive to the scene*

Kyle would get out of the car and would quickly glance around.

It is a sea of crime scene tape, uniformed cops, and press vans trying to get in

Kyle: "Well . . . damn." He would put on some protective medical gloves and would cautiously enter the crime scene.

Samuel is not too far behind him

Kyle would quickly look around the scene

There are two body bags

Kyle: "Two deaths . . . do we got any current witnesses?"

Samuel: yeah… they say they saw a tall man with a ski mask run up and fun both these people down… let’s take a look… *he kneels over the bags*

Kyle: "Alright. I'll see if the autopsies are finished on those two."

*they arrive at the mall

Kyle would check his pistol before getting out of the car

Samuel gets out Cooly and wakes up to the perimeter tape

Samuel: Hmm… we’ll have to ask… if not, we need to have them check the premises if they haven’t already.

Kyle: "They should set up a perimeter around the building."

Samuel: You never know with these idiots…

Kyle: "Do you got rifles in the back? Just in case the guy is still here?"

Samuel: Nah. All we got is our little pistols. I love budget cuts…

Kyle: "Damn it."

Samuel: It’s fine… just try not to get shot at…

Kyle: "Alright . . . I might go buy a rifle at one of the gun stores and see if I can get it approved for work."

Samuel: go to the one o n 5th, my cousin owns that one. He’s got a police discount.

Kyle: "Sounds good."

Samuel: okay… *the radio starts talking*

Kyle would check with one of the medical professionals at the scene if the autopsies of the two dead men have been finished

Radio: We have reports of a mass shooting at the Generic Mall. Shooter has gotten away.

Samuel: Two shootings in one day? I have to think that’s not a coincidence… let’s move Kyle.

Kyle: "But we haven't even finished evaluating this scene."

Samuel: We’ll come back. Let’s go before they start f**king it all up.

Kyle: "Alright."

*they get in the car*

Kyle: "Are EMS at the scene right now?"

Samuel: I don’t know.

*He gets on the radio and lets them know they’re in route*

Kyle: "Are we sure the suspect has fled the scene?"

Chief Kurtis Stryker, a tall older blonde man with a strong chin, is walking with Kyle.

Chief: First I’m going to introduce you to your partner. I must warn you… he’s not exactly the warmest guy to new people…

Kyle: "He can't be that bad."

*they walk up to a desk where Samuel, a late twenties, early thirties, blonde man is sitting. He is reading a playboy magazine and is drinking coffee from a paper cup. He looks up. He is wearing a half tucked in white dress shirt.

Chief: This is Samuel West. And this is your new partner, Kyle [Last Name]

Kyle Ross ))

Kyle: "Hello there sir, it's good to meet you." He would hold out his hand

Samuel: Hm. *he goes back to his magazine*

Kyle: "Alright . . . " He would retract his hand back "So, when will we go out for today's duties?"

Chief: Actually got a new case for ya. Double homicide. At the corner of A and B street. Get there and see what’s up.

Kyle: "Alright, sounds good. I'll be there."

Samuel groans and stretches

Kyle would go to the PD parking lot with Sam
