(My bad bro I forgot to respond from other stuff I was doing today, you can use yourself if you want lol)

(Hang on let me find the starting text I had for humans)

*you see a plume of smoke in the distance, and a large palace made of ice behind you, it looks like the palace inhabited by dragons given that you’ve seen some in the guard towers. Looks like they are confused are about the smoke coming from the south*

cole: ..one of us has to go there and see what it was, at least?

*looks like whoever lives in the ice palace is getting the same idea, several dragons emerge from the walls with spears and some armor and begin flying towards you and the smoke*

cole: i promise you sir, i had nothing to do with that.

*some dragons land before they got to you, checking the ground for something that might not seem normal, a few others fly over you and began landing in different areas of the small trail, but for the most part they ignore you.*

cole: whew, thought i was in trouble for a second..

*one dragon lands near you, they lightly push you out of the way with their claw and search the surrounding area, they end up finding a piece of metal*

cole: ?

(I ended up losing wifi for the whole day yesterday)

*the dragon starts talking to another dragon who is further down. Unfortunately you can’t understand what they say but they are pointing to the strange piece of metal*

cole: *has no idea how he got dragged into this mess*

*by the time you woke up, you were in the snow. Next to you was the icewing that was watching you earlier. There were no other dragons nearby*

*there was a human in blue futuristic armor that completely encased him. They had a rifle pointed at the icewing, finger off the trigger but ready to fire he needed to defend himself and the machine*

*the icewing looks confused, even a little afraid. The human does not speak.*

cole: *gets up and knocks the gun out of their hand*

*the dragon pounces on you, trying to stop you while trying its best not to hurt you.*

*they speak in a series of growls and roars, pointing to the engine you both found at you. It doesn’t look like it’s trying to hurt you… yet…*

cole: i'm not getting a word of what you're saying, i don't speak in dragon

*it doesn’t look like the dragon could understand you either, they stopped for a moment when they heard you talking, but then kept on grumbling and growling until they finally sighed and started trying to force you to move back towards where you came from.*

cole: wh- hey-

*the dragon grumbles a little and stops. They just lay down, they look somewhat annoyed. They mumble something. To you it sounds like a low growl but they don’t look like they’re threatening you.*

*the two other dragons were flying back, and they were bringing more friends with them, the icewing currently watching you just rolled their eyes*

*time skip?*

*one of the dragons points at you, both look ready to seize you, but they also seem to be confused based on how they’re talking to each other. The other dragon shakes their head, suddenly you hear loud roaring coming from where the smoke once was, the dragons next to turn to look south*

cole: !! *covers his ears*

*the dragons next to you yell something back at them before turning to each other again, confused. They look like they’re talking about you, the one icewing keeps pointing to you and then pointing back at the metal scrap they collected*

cole: bw- huh!?

*both dragons walk over to you, they seem to be having a conversation that you also can’t understand*

Icewing 3: I’m not so sure about this. You want to bring the scavenger?

Icewing 2: what if it had something to do with this? Scavengers killed Queen Oasis you know.

Icewing 3: *laughing* I doubt it, but be my guest. You’re carrying them.

Icewing 2: fine. Then let’s go over and see what he found.

*one icewing grabs you without warning, trying not to hurt you with their serrated claws. They tell something to the other icewing, who generally lifts you and tries to place you on the first icewing’s back in between spikes. They then motion for you to hold on to the neck spikes, even grabbing one of them to make sure you know what they’re telling you to do. The dragon’s scales feel cold, almost colder than the snow.*

*then both dragons take off, heading towards the plume of smoke with you on one of their backs*

cole: *is just heckin- shaken at this point*

*as you fly, you can see there’s mostly just snow and ice in every direction. Just as fast as they picked you up, the dragons suddenly land, the icewing that was already there looks at you confused*

Icewing soldier 1: where did you get a scavenger and why is it here?

Icewing soldier 2: just now, it was wandering around in the snow. Maybe it had something to do with—

Icewing soldier 3: he wanted to warm it up. *they seemed to be chuckling*

*the two dragons with you look over to where the dragon you joined was talking about, the smoke had mostly died down now, but that was definitely an exposed engine. What’s it doing all the way out here?*

Icewing soldier 2: Good work. Can you get it out of the snow? We’ll come back with some more soldiers. Also, baby sit this scavenger. *they set you down next to the icewing they just met and both of the Icewings that found you take off*

cole: nope, i can take care of myself already-

*the dragons don’t understand you. The icewing they left you with watches you, making sure you don’t run off*

cole: *zooms off*

(A time skip of a few minutes. Sorry again for the late replies, my classes are now taking up most of my time)

*the dragon leaves you in the snow, sure you’re not going to do anything much and joins the group heading back over to the engine you found. After the dragons converse amongst each other, they begin to dig out the rest of the machine that’s under the snow, leaving you to your own devices*

cole: *pulls out his compass, trying to look for his home*

(Idk where your OC used to be, but rn their in the workd of Wings of Fire on the continent of Pyrrhia, you can decide if the compass works or not, or something goes wrong because of a dimensional incident or something since that’s why the machine is there)

*it goes flippin crazy*

cole: what the- *the magnet explodes along with the whole compass, exploding right in his face* AGH- *he faints*

*one dragon turns towards you hearing the explosion, but is ordered to focus on dragging the machine out of the snow first. The dragons clear most of the snow off the top of the machine and begin to drag it from it’s position, once it’s all the way out, they have a short conversation before most of them leave, leaving two ice dragons by the strange machine. One of them now walks over to you to see that you’ve fainted, they gently poke you with their claw, attempting to wake you up.*

*cole's face just looks messed up*

*the Icewing looks disgusted, says something, then picks you up after seeing you are still breathing*

cole: ..

Random icewing soldier: *still carrying you* [translated from dragon] so these things are as smart as us? It barely looks like it’s smarter than rabbit.

cole: *starts waking up*

Can he be used as a dragon? He can fly and breath fire and stuff like a dragon

*the icewing backs up a little to make room for you*

Icewing S 3: what did you find, hybrid? *they don’t appear to be making fun of you, just genuinely curious*

Icewing S 1: hm..?

Icewing S 2: I don’t think this thing is going to be larger than a dragon, let’s try pulling it now that some of the snow is cleared off.

Steel: *bites into the part of it that's sticking out and pulls it up*

*you hear electricity cackle a little as you bite into wires, breaking parts of the machine you bit into, but not so much as to bite the whole chunk off. The other dragons stare in awe as you lift the machine up. Icewing S 1 comes over and tries to help you, pulling with their serrated claws. Now fully exposed, the machine doesn’t appear to be larger than a dragonet. The part you are biting is the right wing, half of the left wing appears to be missing, perhaps snapped off during the crash. There is a large hole with a metal foil surrounding it in the back of the machine. There appears to be a turbine and some more components inside. The front appears to half covered with a material like glass, but extremely strong and dark. The metal looks like it was painted red in some areas and silver in others*

Icewing S 2: three moons!

Icewing S 3: Great ice spirits.. what is that thing?

Icewing S 1: definitely isn’t dragon made, that’s for sure.

Steel: *sniffs it*

*it smells mostly of metal, the freshly cleared snow/water, and the last traces of smoke. There was a very faint trace of some creature but there wasn’t enough there to determine what it was. Looking at the craft again, it looks like it’s burned in several areas, mostly by where the detached wing is.*

Steel: What is it....

Icewing S 3: *shrugging* no clue.

Icewing S 1: hey, one of us should go tell Queen Snowfall. I don’t think we’re gonna drag this back to the palace ourselves, she’ll probably want to look at it herself before we do anything with it too.

Icewing S 2: you stay here, we’ll go back to the palace. *emphasizing* Don’t move it.

*the icewing next to you nods, the other two take off and head back towards the palace*

*Steel looked at it again, still wondering what it could be*

*suddenly there was a whirring noise, the glass is lifted up by someone inside and it slides into a piece of metal behind it, revealing a human in blue futuristic armor. They look a little disoriented initially but soon got their bearings. They were carrying some sort of weapon in one hand as the stumbled out of the craft. Once they noticed you and the icewing, he points his rifle at both of you. He doesn’t look like he’s going to fire at either at you, but is ready to defend himself and the machine*

Icewing S 1: what in the three… why was there a scavenger inside that thing? What’s it holding?

???: … *he lowers his rifle slightly, ready to raise it again if either of you come at him*

*Steel leaned down and sniffed the scavenger curiosly*

*The human’s armor completely encased them. It must have been polished recently because it smelled mostly of its own metal, but because of the crash it also smelled a little like smoke. The human raised their metal rifle again, threateningly, and motioned for both you and the icewing to back up. He still kept his finger off the trigger.*

Icewing S 1: careful, I know scavengers murdered Queen Oasis starting a three way war almost 20 years ago. This one looks much different than what I’ve seen before.

*Suddenly another small craft flew over head, nearly hitting one of the flying dragons. The sound of its engine made everyone look up. It’s top side appeared to be orange, its wings are almost indistinguishable from the main body. It’s cockpit was encased in what looked like red glass. It looked like it was just patrolling… though something wasn’t right. It began to accelerate rapidly, and was gone as fast as it had appeared.*

???: … *they lowered their rifle and carefully walked back into the open cockpit, making sure to keep an eye on both you and the icewing*

Icewing S 1: *looking up at the sky* I have a feeling this is going to get worse.

*Steel let out a low metallic growl*

*surprisingly the human ignored you, climbing into the machine. The icewing was looking more nervous than ever*

Icewing S 1: I… I hope whatever that was, it doesn’t come back.

*the machine begins to make a loud noise coming from the foil in the back. It begins to heat up, but then it powers down, spitting out an inky black smoke. This was accompanied by the noise beginning to die down.*

Icewing S 1: I guess that’s where the screaming came from…

*the human finally speaks for the first time*

???: … this isn’t good…

*Steel looks down at the human and leans in a bit closer*

*the other dragons and the pilot don’t understand each other, the pilot is frantically typing something on one of the terminals in cockpit, trying to get it to work.*

*you look up again to notice multiple flashes of light, several more ships look like their entering the atmosphere and flying almost directly towards your position. The human also sees this.*

???: *he notices you leaning in towards the cockpit* *he threw a small disk outside the ship so you and the icewing could read it, alight emitted from the disk appeared as a box showing a screen that had the blue prints to the machine. The machine was called a Starfighter, it was named “Challenger of The Void.” Damaged parts of the machine were shown in various colors ranging from yellow to red. The entire section with the missing wing was marked in a dark red.*

*Suddenly you hear static coming from the machine. Looks like the human finally got something working.*

???: Hello? This is Sky, Does anyone read me? *nothing for a moment, just static coming from the other end* Is anyone out there? *he paused again, more static* *gravely* Atlas guide me. *he looked up at the incoming vessels. They were bigger than Sky’s starfighter.*

*Steel squints his eyes at the incoming ships flying in*

Some of Queen Snowfall’s guards appear to be examining some of the scrap metal found in the snow, but no one has ventured as far as the smoke yet. You see some dragons getting ready to head over through.*

Steel: *flies over to the dragons*

Icewing soldier 2: halt, you’re not getting into the palace. Queen Snowfall ordered the place locked down.

Icewing soldier 3: *chuckling* how are they supposed to know that? But yeah, I’m afraid we cannot let you in at this time, if that is your intention. We had something fly by one of the towers last night during a blizzard. We were going to go see if we could find it.

Steel: *He looked at the two soldiers back and forth*

Icewing soldier 2: … you will need to wait outside the gates if you wish to speak with her at this time. We’re worried that a dragon was out during the blizzard and crashed. As far as I know, she might not even be in the palace and might be looking for them herself.

*Steel followed them, he seemed rather friendly and ongoing even being around twice their size*

*Some Icewings seem wary of you. Several Icewings began landing at various points, looking for a sign of a dragon but only occasionally finding debris, all of which appears to be metal*

Icewing S 2: we don’t know what exactly we’re looking for. Hopefully it’s just a dragon and we’re not too late.

Icewing S 3: every dragon knows to take shelter during a blizzard.

Icewing S 2: I doubt those stupid rainwings know. Though I doubt they would be this far north anyway.

*Steel looks through the metal, sniffing around it*

*because of the snow, they all pretty much smelled normal, except for a faint hint of paint and some other creature, not a dragon*

*a dragon was over by where the plume of smoke used to be. Suddenly they yelled*

Icewing Soldier 1: I THINK I’VE FOUND SOMETHING!

*the two Icewings that spoke to you look at each other and shrug before lifting off and flying over to the new icewing*

*Steel looked over and followed them*

*both dragons that spoke to you land next to the new icewing*

Icewing soldier 2: what did you find?

Icewing soldier 1: something’s buried in a light layer of show, could be what we’re looking for.

Icewing soldier 3: this just looks like some broken glass and some more of the scraps we saw over there.

Icewing soldier 2: *knocking the snow a little behind the glass, you could hear metal banging* yep, this is definitely something big.

Icewing soldier 3: huh, good job. Let’s see if we can get it out.

Steel: *digs under it*

*you find more metal, it clangs when your claws strike it. It’s strong It’s clearly something big, but you can tell it’s no larger than these Icewings you’re with*

Icewing S 1: *brushes some snow off the top, uncovering a sheet of what looks like to be black glass. It’s a miracle none of it was destroyed.* what the… I can’t see what’s inside, this glass is nearly as black as a nightwing’s scales…

Icewing S 3: *finding more metal off to the side, though it appears to be thin* Strange looks like part of it juts out this way.

*Steel walks over to Icewing S 3*

(Ight, what color scales do they have? Most Icewings are more hostile to Nightwings, which is why I’m asking)

He's practically just a metal dragon but not metal and without that long neck

(Ok, maybe they’ll mistake your for a hybrid then because of the orange. I’m not sure what dragons are outright just gray though unless they’re a silkwing or rainwing. Will your OC be able to understand humans/scavengers or just dragons.)
